Thank you for the article on our moving to Lake Quivira. It was very nice. But my husband is a veterinarian, not a veteran for 42 years. Could you make this correction in the next issue please?

When new members buy a home here at the lake, I’d like to suggest that you include their information right away. Membership fees are $20,000, way more than a golf membership. A photo would be nice too, so people could then recognize them.

Dear Laurie and Leanna,
We look forward to reading each issue of the Quiviran. It has been so nice to hear and learn about new neighbors here at the lake. I also read about all the new country club golf members, as their names are listed and they are welcomed.

A suggestion would be to get the names of new home buyers/country club members from John Williams. I understand that many homes have been sold since January.

We bought in November of 2010. We would have loved to been introduced to the community by The Quiviran. The people we have met are always surprised to learn that we are “new” so to speak, but, they never knew that we moved into Lake Quivira in December, 2010. We have met four of our neighbors on Seneca Trail West.

I met Leanna at a Garden Club meeting in the spring.

Thanks for producing a wonderful newspaper!
